Since the Cyborg was JDM and Australia only (Maybe Europe), you will want to check there. Here is what a quick Google search found:

http://www.automobile-catalog.com/make/ ... /1990.html

The JDM GVR4 were switchable, not sure on the Cyborg.

so from that site it looks like the trans is geared like the 1990 galant GSX n/a . only 5th gear is lower . now I wonder if the bell housing is same size? did galant gsx use 215 or 225mm clutch? anyone know that? better yet are there any galant gsx left in usa driving around that might need a trans?

It is essentially the same trans a GSX, W5M31 is equivalent to the f5m31 in FWD form. It is weaker and not like the turbo version w5m33 and f5m33 transmissions. No clue about the clutch though, but I would guess it's identical to the turbo 4g63.

Seems like there was a member over on GVR4.org looking for a GGSX trans.

Thought all the AWD clutches were 215mm? I could be way off, but those were the numbers that come to mind when looking up clutches from years ago.

The FWD clutches are the same also. Only the ring gear for AWD/FWD (106/110 tooth) are different between FWD/AWD turbo.
