Has anyone had any problems with their automatic seat belts? Mine stopped working a few days ago, I checked all fuses related and none were blown. What else would cause both seat belts to no longer operate? Car is a 1989 Mirage GT

I have the same issue in my car, still need to swap that module as I've gone through everything else like you have.

Where would I find another module? Would one from a 1g tel work?

If someone takes a module to a TV/circuit/stereo repair place, there might be a chance of finding a common failure point with these modules. Caps and ISC/injector drivers on ECM's, so why not some simple output failure or switching issue? Can't be much logic to the little box. Wish there was a circuit diagram for them, much like old stereo boards and TV circuit boards. Specs help even more ....

Maybe I will take the module apart and see if any things on it is burnt. Or convert to manual seat belt.

One of our members posted pics of a burnt circuit board on FB.

Best to open the affected unit and see what is up. Seems it will contain similar capacitors like the the ECU's.
