I currently own an Australian GSR CB Lancer, C63A Frame. It's a FWD and came with a 4g61 motor. My hubs needs to be replaced since they are cracked and chipped.

I was wanting to get the part off http://www.amayama.com/ but they don't seem to have any for that model or part number. I would like to know if there is an equivalent model with a different name outside of Australia that I could use. The hubs would have to be identical

This part is identical across the whole spectrum of 4g15/4g61(t)/4g67/4g92 equipped C50/C60/C70/C80 cars from 1987/8/9-1992/3/4 (depending on the market).

Just need a spindle that no one wants, or a yard that is willing to pull it apart and send it to you.

I'm almost 100% sure on this.

That doesn't look like the normal captive rotor hubs that we have does it?

They look more to me like Galant/Expo hubs. If we had some sort of measurements, or a bearing part # it would be easier to narrow it down.

But then it's not quite like a Galant hub either...

I thought the CB was closer to what we call a 4g mirage here? Can you post a pic of your car? Also what bolt pattern is it?

These are his signature listed cars from the site down under:

"91 CB Lancer GSR 4g61
91 CB Lancer GLX 4g15 - GSR 4g61 - vr4 4g63t
91 CB Lancer GSR - 4G61 - vr4 4g63t"

They are all the same body style as our 89-92 USDM models.

I see what you are saying and I should have spotted that lack of "flats" one four side of the hub face!

So, where did those hubs come from ? 4G is possible then .... or another model that shares the same spline count, bolt pattern (shown with holes for captive rotors too?) and bearing mating surfaces ...

The plot thickens ...

haha sorry to keep you waiting, I'm not getting any notifications on post.

The hubs were machined to have the circular edge so I could have floating rotors and twin pot setup. The extra holes are for locating pin and to bolt the rotors on but its not necessary anymore.

I wasn't too sure if the parts were the same. I couldn't find hard enough info to be sure. I couldn't see why this particular part could differ across minor models?

Did you guys get the expo, summit or colt vista wagons over there? It would be a good time to just upgrade the entire knuckle and hub assembly if so. No need to mod the new hub then.

Yea we do but called a Nimbus we've got a few RVR's here. Imports though.

Is there any difference in the knuckle? What are the advantages?

You do have to slot the holes in the struts or get camber plates but other than that they bolt right on. They have a better/larger sealed bearing design and they don't have the captive rotor setup. The 276mm GVR4 rotor slides right on.

I've got camber bolts currently have will be removing them since I've got coilovers. I"m running evo 4 294mm rotors

Would I have to get the fwd model?

Do you guys get any other wheel alignment issue with this mod or is it just camber?

I believe the awd and fwd's from this particular model are the same. Seems like I remember looking them up in CAPS back in the day. I don't believe that there are any other issues with running them. maybe some of the other guys will chime in, I know Coltsfan pretty much figured all this stuff out with the expo knuckles but many other members are using them too now. I'm guessing you re-drilled the evo 4 rotors?

Damn wish I knew sooner!

I was looking for aftermarket but I guess I was looking only into the Australian model!

Anyway I've found a set and getting them machined.
