Here is a case in point of what I am talking about:

I will add more as more comes about.

We are always asking about suspension and how it will affect this and that, yada yada.

I know I can learn a great deal from this, and we just don't see enough of this here.

It would be nice if we had some sort of a write-up detailing what others have found out, regarding their cars.

Things this should cover:
Corner weighting.
Stock ride height, ride height with certain aftermarket coil springs installed and the camber changes induced, etc.
Stock coil dimensions F/R and related F/R bias ie 1.5:1 with relation to understeer and oversteer, and neutrality.
Setting the car up for oversteer (the parts to do it), neutral steering, auto cross, drag racing.
Rear panhard bar adjustments due to "x" amount of lowering, to keep the bar centered at the new "normal" ride height, and why.
If you are running an original AWD setup or have converted to AWD, then this needs to be covered also.

I would put it to the members that we need to dissect the suspension on our rides and come up with a detailed primer for the rest of the world to see.

This shouldn't be terribly hard to do, but it will involve some mathematical ability.

Yes, grade schoolers can likely whoop us in that category, but it's just cause they are in practice! :fencing:

All the information is sitting in quiet corners of the internet, and in books (yeah, remember those!) just waiting to be applied and digested by the greater populace of CSM owners worldwide!

I plan on really dipping into suspension on my car.
Going to start with koni yellows with ground control coil over kit...

I would love to have an idea for a starting point for alignment settings on awd (aside from stock 1g).
