how much of a PITA is it to replace the core? dash removal? one the metal lines coming through the firewall was badly corroded and just broke off in my hands months ago, I have been putting off fixing it but now I have to DD the car and need defrosting capabilities

I just gutted my car for racing purposes... but im pretty sure taking the dash out is a must if not it will make it 100x easier... I have the heater core out of my car to if you do need one.

Dash will need to come out for sure. It's right in the middle behind everything. I think I have a spare though if you don't have one already.
