JDM side markers.

USDM markers have an orange insert and are flat on the side portion.

JDM markers have the bulge on the side, almost 100% they have the orange insert like most cars in most markets.

EDM markers can vary, but likely are solid orange and flat on the side portion.

That appears to be similar in shape to the front bumper lower mounted turn signal, but could be from and earlier generation of Colt. Pre-87 for the world market, pre-89 for USDM.

Any chance they have a part number attached? That would really help narrow it down.

It would not surprise me.
Germany gets RHD and LHD, and had many different Mitsubishis that we did not see over here; well models within the Colt 2000 series, better known as models C50/60/70/80's.
