Are there significant differences between CSM and 1G DSM K-members?

I am in need of one - specifically for a 91 fwd manual trans DSM, but am unsure of the differences though out all the dsm and csm models

There is a 92 GS-T at the local JY that I can grab the x-member from. I've never had both side by side but I highly doubt they are the same as the csm.

hmm, that could work. How much $? Just to clarify, I need the part that holds the front control arms and has the steering column going through it.

You mean the front subframe. The x-member is just the piece that holds the roll stops that the engine mounts bolt onto. I can probably grab a subframe for around $150 but it's a pretty big part so shipping wouldn't be cheap.

Yes, finding something local will be much better for sure. I'm willing to bet the na 1.8 and 2.0 cars share the same part so it won't be too hard to find one. I've picked up dsm's for a few hundred complete. Just start searching craigslist like a mad dog.
