OK, so I might be replacing my walbro255 soon. My friend told me about the Airtex E2448. After researching it, I see its a rebranded fuel pump made by walbro and in the USA, its just rebranded. Identical fuel pressure rates and for 50 bucks with a lifetime warranty sold at autozone, advanced, oreillys etc and usually on stock. Great deal!! Figure I'd share and at same time ask if anyone on here ever ran one on their dsm or any other car?

if its the same one people was talking about a few years ago its junk... its actually a knock off and people have had issues of it going out anywhere from 1 day to 3 months.. and some have had a few go out on them in short periods of time...

I would do more research on them before u buy one. read reviews and on other forums.

Doesn't look like any of the walbro 255s I've installed.

I'll swing past my local autozone and check it out in person.

Alright guys, I went and pulled it. It DOES say Walbro and it does say made in usa. As for using one, I don't know if they made them to to the usual high standards or did a cheapy run to fill an order. They wouldn't be the first company to do it. They had to have been making them for a long time, the box I looked at has a lot of dust on it. The pump in the box does NOT look like the one on the product page, it looks more like a walbro with exposed terminals.

Yea, I called walbro. Airtex does make its own pumps, but That model is made by walbro and rebranded to airtex. It's has a shorter pickup. For 50 bucks with lifetime warranty and easily available, figured it was worth sharing. I think i'm going to try one out.
