Anybody running a manual power steering rack? I'll have my engine pulled next week and am debating on weather or not to delete the power steering. Input would be greatly appreciated.

See Coltixims thread.
He changed up the steering rack options.

My opinion is to keep the power rack and belt installed.

I had a Quaife ATB LSD installed into a FWD DSM transmission. I now have a slightly heavier feedback from the steering during tight cornering. Power steering belt is slightly old and was chirping, but is appropriately tight. Regardless of gearing in first and reverse, or whether you are clutched in or not, this will make your tires split the input into the appropriate bias per the internal gearing of the center diff. It's a feeling of control, and seems to enhance control coming through and out of corners regardless of throttle. I am digging this sensation as I try out the car, and give it a shakedown.

Unless you go Remy's route, I can't see the point of deleting the power steering function for a daily driven car. Purpose built or whatever you have in mind, it's up to you.

Until your suspension is sorted, the car won't be as responsive to steering input like it could be.
