Essentially my brake booster is in the way of my throttle body & part of the IC piping " As seen in the picture. I need to get rid of it or relocate it somewhere. I understand my brakes will be very firm, but I was looking for first hand experience from guys who have done it. ~Chase ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It's inadvisable at best. There's a way to make it fit somehow. Didn't tonus run a Forrester intake? |

My brake booster just went out on my colt turbo. It still has the stock brakes. I push that brake pedal with all I have to get it to stop going down a 15% grade. I would say it is a horrible idea. You have to be able to lower everything or something crazy. I would just run a different throttle body elbow that is tighter. I understand the bov port is right there but it would be nice to be on the back side of the bend. Throwing my 2 cents in. |

easiest way (and you will hate this idea) is to have a 90 or 45 degree piece welded to the TB.. with about 6" on it.. this will clear the booster then you can connect off of it... eliminating the connecting hose will make enough space to clear. but most dont want to weld onto the TB.. only other otion is to have a super tight bend and cut the ic pipe as short as possible to clear with the hose connected. Slowdsm, why not just get a 45 or 90 throttle body coupler? |

Is there room on the D/S of the firewall to just move it? The 4g csm's brake booster is over there. Maybe mod the firewall and toss in a 4g pedal? Probably a lot of work though. |

Thanks for all the ideas. At this point I am not sure what I am going to do honestly... Still trying to figure something out |

Looks like the reservoir is in the way not the booster. |

yeah thats what is touching. Is there a way to move the res to another spot? Brake systems are like another language to me, so I am unsure how I would go about doing it. |

There are other mitsu car with remote reservoirs that might work. My 2g turbo csm has one. I've seen the vans with them too. |
