Never could understand why someone would want to go to manual brakes. The weight savings is barely anything and decreasing safety is never a good thing.

Short of installing some sort of whacked-out hydroboost setup, you would gain space near the master, but gain weight due to the complexity of something like that.

Besides, it's mainly for trucks. 8)

A properly setup manual system will stop just as well as a power setup, they are different in geometry so you can't just slap a master on your firewall and call it a day. The pedal ratio has to be correct and mastercylinder size has to be correct. It's not for everbody but is a good option for some

In my case it wasn't for weight saving it was to gain space for the intake manifold
