does an oil-filled canister-type ignition coil better compared to our stock ignition coil?

What vintage era Colt/Lancers are we comparing to now?
I feel there can be no comparison due to what each is asked to with the electronics that control it.
COP is the only change currently available in ready supply for the 4G6X versus an expensive ECU setup with different variables to the Mitsu setups from the late 80's, early 90's.

You have to know the specs on the factory with regards to saturation time, amp output, etc, before you can compare to an aftermarket coil setup. They are out there but not worth the upgrade. Usually it is only worth changing the distributor to take an external coil tower setup. There was a mod like this listed a while back, probably searchable, but it has been months since I saw it and read through it.
