Is there an easy way to remove and replace the shift cable shifter cables? It was a pain to pull them from the donor car and not looking forward to removing/reinstalling them on the Colt. I'm tempted to try and cut the offending stud that is way longer then it should be:

I cut about seven threads off that stud with an air body saw, no more struggles.
