Quote: I run 225/50 tires on 16x7 wheels with +40 offset. My car is slammed in coil overs and the wheels are tucked in the fender still. However I did have to remove the front inner fender liners and roll the fender lip. It's a tight fit when lowered.
True, ... true.

would a 15x6.5 and 38 offset w// multi lug pattern fit our CSM captive rotors? My other options is 16x7 w/ 45 offset and also a multi lug. Among the options w/c is a better |

I would go with the first choice for a better fit. But both will fit decent. Its the center bore you may have to measure to be sure they will fit |

What brakes are you running? If you have the stock base model solid front rotors and drums in the rear, I don't recommend adding upsrung weight to the front and rear of the car, as 100% this will. Acceleration will be slower, as will deceleration, with only cornering being a bit better assuming you haven't moved the wheels too far in or out. If you have turbo brakes, disregard as it is less of a concern. |

the bore size says 72.6 also does a 38 offset better than 45? based on the post above 40+ above is a much better choice |

Depends on your wheel width and tire size, we cant tell you to go with +38 or +45 based on nothing. I personally like a slightly lower offset and run +34 on 15x7 225/50s but they are more like 235s as the tire I use runs on the big side, I had to roll the front fenders. |

im just worried if the +38 wheel be out sticking out of the fender or hit something inside the suspension on full turns compared to +45. what's the limit on tire size can the +38 offset handle im planning on 195/50 can it handle 205/50 or 205/55? what about the +45 tire size choices? |

A 205/50 would be a good fit for +38. |
