I just purchased a 89 colt with a awd swap from a 1g.

Well stock RX 7 wheels clear "16x8" +50mm"

Plan on running 225's if i can. I've searched on here but cannot find any links or info about the wheels. I don't mind rolling the fenders if i have to.

thanks, chase

Yes, they will fit. They will stick out quite a bit though, and look kind of stupid.

Alright i'll keep searching my options then. I just don't want to be limited on my selection of 205 slicks/radials if i keep the stock 1g wheels

Last time I went hunting for stocker FD rims they were priced much higher than they deserved. You will likely be happier buying brand new rims that are exactly what you want and will not have been whooped on by some drift happy idiot.

+50 offset isn't that agressive right? You're not gonna have any problem on my opinion with that offset

+50 offset will set the center of the wheel further in, making it more likely to rub on suspension parts. RX7 wheels are 8" wide, which in my opinion is too wide for a CSM, so they stick out too.

I have a pair already at my house that i got from a friend when he got new wheels... they don't show much signs of wear at all.

Yeah the only reason i asked was because i already have a set at the house. I might just suck it up & run 205's on the stock 1g wheels

I made up my mind. looks like I'm going to keep the stock 1g wheels on there & see how wide i can get before they rub. The car is AWD swapped so it might be a little different.

agree! i dont know why people overpriced their stock wheels more than aftermarket ones, even if they are the same brand

Anyone have any experience with Diamond Racing steelies. I know all the Honda kids run them just thought I'd ask.

Thinking of purchasing a set of 15x6 or 15x7 with a -0 or -12 off set

Just looking for something wide enough to run slicks, sorry for all these questions, never owned a colt before, coming over from the DSM world
