Well, i have received my Jay Racing kit but the lower bracket look more thick on one side. The Colt half shaft need to be fixed on the bloc with the OEM AC bracket (cutted) or 8mm spacer: http://www.4g61t.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=35529 ![]() I have found more explication on the Evo 123 forum : http://www.evo123.net/showthread.php?t=8537 Look the post #20 . I have cloned the Jay kit with steel metal for best strong and i have now a perfect thickness Plasma cutting ![]() ![]() Made a template for soldering ![]() New bracket vs hold ( we have also stepped the rear side like the Jay bracket ) ![]() Let me know what you think ? i made mine out of 5/16 plate, a large bolt (drilled through) and thin washers on the back for the "step" about 3 years ago worked great. then i found a better way that does not need that tensioning rod. copy the buschur racing kit, and tension the alternator off the block. keeps it straight and is much sturdier, and i have not thrown a belt yet. |

Yes if you use the tensioner rod from he Jay Kit you need also to relocate the PTU, the rod hit the PTU bracket ... I have made a tensioner with a aluminum bar plate, finnaly i use only the belt from the Jay kit and not i dont sell a lower bracket copy sorry .
