I just ordered mine from Horsepower Freaks, $909. I also got additional springs 549 front 353 rear too so I can try those on track days.

I got an email from K Sport customer service and they sell individual RR springs for $44ea and $175ea for the RR shock inserts.

Shawn, did you ever get a chance to try out your car with each of the spring combos? If so, what were your opinions/reviews on each?

Not yet. I plan on switching to the stiffer springs soon though.

They are $855 on ebay at this very moment, just ordered a set. If you want them at this price better get them now.

I was just informed these are currently discontinued by Ksport, apparently they are in the process of revising them, so I wont be getting them from that seller, at least not anytime soon. I'm sure they are a few vendors that may have some on hand..

I just noticed I never replied here after running the stiffer springs. I ran them for probably over a year. It wasn't too bad for daily driving but I do run a fairly tall sidewall tire which adds cushion. I run two sets of tires depending if I want best economy or spirited driving. They are 225/50-16s and 165/80-15s (old school VW Beetle tires). The springs make for a stiff ride for sure but my tires made it livable. Since then I have put the other springs back on.

What bracket is being used for the front KSport coilovers?

Does the bracket contain a welded nut in the proper orientation to allow fitment of the factory bracket?

I have a set of the base models coming in soon and have no idea if they come with the brake line brackets for the front two strut tubes.

What did you guys get with your sets?

Generic picture on Amazon doesn't show the kit in question. Ugh.

P.S. Anyone have measurements of their strut bodies (from body base to collars) or where their struts are adjusted to and the height of the chassis pinch seams just back/forward of the wheels. I'm wondering what I should install them to, so as to not need to remove them 5x for inital ride height adjustment. I'm trying to pick up the body manual for factory measurements to work back from, so as to know when I am anywhere near 1.5" drop or more (area I do not want to be in, want much closer to stock for wheel clearance and rear axle alignment!).

There was a bracket you could use to bolt onto the strut bolt to hold the brake line, but I just zip tied mine.

I use the factory 2 piece brake line setup (with SS lines of course) and just zip tie the bracket to the strut body. It fits around the strut body naturally and two heavy duty zip-ties hold it secure.

I don't have an overall length measurement but I believe if you put the bottom of the strut flush with the lower mount threaded collar it will be about a 2" drop. I will look closer later today when I get a chance.

Yep, just looked. Flush is roughly 2" drop for me anyway.

Thanks guys. Great info.
Purchased a set of these coilovers then get a message from a certain amazon/Ebay store, that they are now more expensive and take 2-3 weeks (KSport call direct and was told they are made overseas, thus the wait time). The product was listed as in stock and shipped from the Amazon vendor store. This burns my britches. Drop shipment bullnanny. I paid for something and now they want me to pay over $200 more to get it. Bought the item at $900 US, now they quote $1170 shipped in the US. MAPerformance lists their sets (unknown stock/inventory) for $1170 shipped to the US. They matched this price that I quoted from another vendor in my last email.

My decisions are mainly based upon where I can get my suspension tweaked and repaired. If I choose a local suspension builder, it is easier and requires product development but at the top end of the spectrum for cost. If I choose a builder out of California, I can probably get rebuilds locally/same province, cost is middle of the road and product development once again has to happen. Both middle and top end suspensions offer Swift springs. I currently just want a car that sits level, near enough to ride height and have some control with no sag. Coilovers are the only way to wade into this realm, as most of the stuff I have tried over the years just isn't up to the task nor time in between useage (sitting).

If I push the button, I can always match a set of swift springs (later) to go with the KSports, and see how they work with them. If I match the spring rates given with the KSports, then all should be well, but the idea being that it should ride as good as those shocks ever will, and with no sag over time (or very negligable and still adjustable back to height - frame pinch welds to flat level ground surface).

Ugh.

From my experience in trying to buy Ksports on eBay or Amazon is that they are all drop shippers, they will take your money, hold it, and decide to tell you later that they cant get it sent out in a timely manner because they are build to order and will force refund your money. Should be illegal!
