Im about to put the axles and fluid in my 90 dsm trans but wanted an opinion.

My last trans had csm shift arms on it. Grinded all the time but worked, never blew.

New trans is a 90 i think, i left the 90dsm shifter arms and attempted the turn buckle trick, but that didnt seem to work at all, i believe its because i have a 4g/evo3 style shifter in the car, it seems to change the motion of the shifter somehow.

With 1.5cables, 4g shifter, 1.5 cable bracket, and 90 trans and shifter arms, it goes into all the gears, reverse is a bitch gotta use muscles. With cables off, its hard to put trans in reverse too so im going to chalk that up to the trans and not binding in the cables or whatev.

Before i reasemble all this shit, who thinks itll work. Itll go in all the gears pretty easily, 5th and reverse are a little harder, no fluid in trans and it hasnt been driven in awhille, could be gummy. Thoughts?

Well it works, drove it some tonight.

My shift pattern inside the car is screwy, ill be swapping the the arms asap, this is driveable but not raceable, ha.
