ok so I been driving to school all week no problem. Today 9pm leaving my class, I left school. I put it in 1st and took off I came to stopsign than took off. The next stopsign I couldnt put it in gear. I had to shut car off and then put in gear and start. I thought maybe low on trans fluid, I went and put some in. Less than quarter low if that. I started it up, still no go. I notice one the rubber bushing was beat up. So I went inside walmart and bought a Skateboard(thats all that had... lol) I put it in. Still no go. I finally decided to drive home in gear. So i left and drove as much as i could in 3rd gear all way home.

.... ISSUES ....
When in gear and I come to complete stop, I have clutch pedal engaged the car wants to keep pulling and dies. Normally clutch in while in gear, the car wont die.

Once the car is moving I can shift without the clutch pedal while driving. seems no issues

I adjusted the clutch pedal at a gas station, it seemed to work for a sec (maybe just in my head because I wanted it to work) but than went back to not shifting while car running at a stop

I just got home, I checked slave cylinder under boot= no leak that i could feel or see

no leak that could see from inside car from master cylinder

slave & master cylinder= original, I have never changed those since I did this swap. :ANAL:

Im dumb founded, I know cant be much, not to many things with hydraulic system. Im just hoping its not the clutch. I never experienced a bad clutch before. Iv only experience slipping clutches and a cracked PP on previous cars.

This clutch setup never slipped or any problems before today so im hoping its not that.

any ideals? or tests? Its after midnight & my brains fried from school all day. Hopefully someone has some ideals

Sorry for the long post....

Your clutch is dragging for some reason.

Master cylinder, slave cylinder, air in line, worn clutch fork, worn pivot ball, loose pressure plate bolts, spring popping out of clutch and jamming itself, gummed up splines on the input shaft.......

Thanks. The clutch is unsprung 4 puck, clutch & pp brand new less 5 months drive time if that, no abuse believe or not. Bolts hopefully good, i triple check those and lock tight. Im hoping changing out slave and master today will help this issue(slave & master have never been changed by me). Ill try bleeding it again see it helps any. Pivot ball & clutch fork hmm... Ill try to do the things first to avoid dropping trans again. I havent abused this car, Iv kinda baby it since its been my DD and clutch gave no signs of failure ex; slipping, or gear changing probelms before hand. Today after class Ill check it out more in day light.

O, also at a complete stop, I engage clutch all way. I try to put it 1st gear and it grinds and wont go into gear. Every other gear it does not grind and I just cant get into gear.

shifts good when car is off, start car is gear to drive home last night. Thank god for back roads, but even those filling up with traffic by me.

I never replaced the shift fork or pivot ball on this. I have never experienced a bad shift/pivot ball before. Im not able to push the shift fork all the way back towards the passenger side. Like something is preventing it from doing so. This being the reason I cant shift into gears. Before I drop this this week and order parts. What could be some possible reason/causes so im prepared? Hoping just bad shift fork and pivot ball. Once i start driving after starting in gear, I am able to shift with out the clutch. Is that a sign the clutch is at least good and not seized?
