okay. here's the deal.


I just stalled my FMIC.... Checked and re-checked all connections.... When the car hits 5000 rpm it sounds like the car is hitting the rev limiter. I checked my ECM link settings and the rev limiter isnt supposed to engage til 7000 rpm....

WTF.

What is the 2step set at?

I had my 2step at 5500 with the AWD colt, I accidently kicked the clutch wire off to enguage the 2step, So it would only rev to that 5500, no higher.

Is it doing this even when sitting still? What MAF are you running?

Ditto on this. My clutch wire wasn't on and my 2 step became my new rev limit.

Or if your speedo cable breaks, you'll automatically be limited to your launch limit, cause it assumes your going 0 all the time.

I HAVE been under the car previously running some wiring so it's entirely possible that wire had come loose. I'll check that connection

I didn't install the "clutch" wire. Dunno if that means anything. :oops: I was able to rev to 7000 no issues.
