so im working on the colt today and noticed the cel was on..wan diag and got code 44...Ignition coil, ignition power transisitor unit..

its a 89 colt gt that came with the 61t.. I used the existing wire harness..coil pack and ignighter. ..so after getting the code I replaced both coil pack and ign. with a known good one from my car...still getting same code... car feels like its running on 3 cyl.

also the tach works when it wants to..sometimes it bounces around..sometimes it sits at 0..no clue on it either..harness stayed in the car when i did the swap.. everything worked pre swap.

anyone else have this issue? if so how did u fix it? im using a 90 dsm ecu with werewolf for tuning...any help would be appreciated.

On drag radials.auto trans.launching @ 5 psi and no traction thru 2nd.
