Hi,

I got a transmission with this code ; B00BQL

The seller told me that it come from a C53a (original transmission).

Can it be the same as a KM210 ?
Did you ever saw this code ? B00BQL

Thanks,

I have the same type of code on the top side of the bell housing, it is'nt for identifying the type of transmission it is. That is a serial number that connects it to that certain chassis I believe.

The 5th gear cover on the end of the trans should have "f5m31" on it and the underside of the bell housing should have "km210" on it to make it a 1.6 turbo trans.

The KM210 I picked up just today has "KM210" on the underside on the bellhousing and facing the block right on the "lip" of the bellhousing up top.
