I wish I had some pics to go with this post, but I will have some soon. It is MUCH narrower than the stock battery, and tucks nicely up against the coolant and wiper reservoirs, giving possibly enough space to run the upper intercooler pipe from a talon SMIC up between the aircan and battery. I really did not want to relocate anything, and this solves my IC problems.

Funny most people go smaller I go bigger I used a Optima Yellow Top gel cell maintanence free hasn't let me down yet even when I'm a moron and left my lights on over night and at work for an 8 hour shift it will still turno over my car :)

Those Optima Yellow tops are REALLY heavy thought, I have one in my lifted 4Runner that is running a winch and 4 KC's. Its true though that they will pretty much last forever. I did see a guy at the track using a Harley Davison battery though, pretty damn small and is still 12V with enough CCA to crank over most 4cyl.

I'm using a very small 13ibs hawker battery (same as dynabatt but only $69) in my bmw (3.2 inline six) and it works fine. I'll probably be getting that same battery for the mirage.
