Turbo front rotors are bigger, 266mm I believe. It should be in the archives somewhere.

Coupe or sedan makes a difference, non turbo hatch has tiny unvented deathwishes for rotors.

Yes you can put 266mm turbo rotors on your hubs if you upgrade the calipers as well.

Go to the archives, so many options for brakes.

The twin piston calipers never came on these cars stock, they are on GVR4's and later model (92.5+) AWD DSM's. In order to use the turbo colt/mirage front rotors you will need the matching calipers too. I wouldn't even bother with this upgrade unless someone gave it to me and the rotors and pads were new. Just swap over to the expo non captive knuckles and toss on some GVR4 rotors and twin piston calipers and be done.

They also come on 1st gen Diamante's, and 3000GT-SL's. The rotors come from Galant VR4's

The base model 3g hatch calipers are too small for the .9xx inch thick 267mm diameter turbo rotors, but Turbo CSM calipers will fit or (correct me if I'm wrong here)-> single piston DSM calipers should work too.

To use the twin piston calipers you need to switch to a 277mm rotor, which is not provided in a captive rotor setup. It's use requires swapping out knuckles/hubs, then doing modifications to align the car, or machining down the existing hubs so the rotors fit over them, and spacing out the caliper brackets with longer bolts. Now if you choose option #2: machine the hubs, I'm not sure how much of the hub pilot is left to rest your wheels on, and you may end up with a wheel balance issue.

Ps. If you switch to turbo brakes front and rear, it's a huge upgrade over the tiny base model disk drum combo.

does not anyone here have those turbo caliper or selling theirs? is there a way to use those turbo rotors w/o doing any fab on the hubs etc..

option #1

rotor = turbo (266mm)
caliper=turbo
wheel=14" or higher

option #2

rotor=Vr4
caliper=Vr4
