Can someone measure the Outer Diameter of the front struts sometime today?

mine measured about 7-3/4" about 19cm

I measured a 2" outer diameter. It sounds like you measured the circumference (sp?)

I think it's around 7 3/4 across the spring or the spring seat. Which part of the strut you mean? in the lower cartridge area it's prob closer to 2". You looking for Coilovers or something?

that was measured right below the spring seat and yes it is the circumfrence. Sorry bout that.

looking at a different approach for mounting the koni inserts so that I can get more travel. (I'd prefer not to weld the inserts)

The O.D. I was looking for was the shock body, not the spring seat. Sorry about that.
