I want to know what to expect when I pull the 1.5 8v, currently I'm at 32 MPG driving to and from work. I will be using either a 61t or a 63t; getting most of the parts from a donor turbo model. Please mention something about your setup, 5spd, what turbo, engine management ... Thanks, -Joe |

I had a mostly stock 4g63t in my Mirage, 660cc injectors, 1g MAF (unhacked), factory 1.6 ECU, S'AFC, Zeitronix Wideband, F5M33 tranny with AWD 5th gear mod. Car got a best of 33mpg on the highway, would average 26-27 with combined driving. Having the F5M33 trans with the AWD 5th gear didn't make a big difference. |

I have K210, a 1g VR4 AWD, or the 3spd auto to choose from, the 3spd is in it now as part of the appearance only GT. thanks for the quick response. |

I've been getting about 20MPG in my stock GT. I drive about 90 and floor it every chance I get. |

I also get 20mpg, and I drive like him. ^^^^ Premium is now $4.26 here, so I suspect I'll be trying for better milage this summer. |

Use the KM210, the 1g VR4 AWD trans has a shorter final-drive ratio.
thanks for the quick response. |

2 years ago, I changed out my cable 4 spd for a W5M33 with a VCE in my stock 1.5L powered CSM. My mileage dropped from 38 to 31-32. I believe this is due to the taper bearings vs roller bearings in the trans. Higher spinloss. |

ive got a 4G63t with 560cc injectors, E316g at 16lbs and a 2G MAF with DSMlink on a 1G ECU. I get about 18-21 combined driving, alignment is a little off and Direzza Z1 sports are running belts due to 1/8 mile passes... and I do floor it alot and drive about 80-90 on the I-15 and I-5 haha... no A/C errr shit no blowing air so its windows down time for me ALL THE TIME haha |

4g63t, 660cc injectors, 14b @ 17psi, FP exhaust manifold, 2g maf, 1g ECU, no EGR, no cat, no muffler, functioning cyclone intake, km210 trans, rewired walbro 255, and open fuel pressure regulator. If can resist and shift around 2,000 rpm I can get around 26-28mpg around town do to the runner set-up on the cyclone intake. On the highway I'm looking at about 17-21mpg if I'm lucky. |

Quote: Above 2,300-2,500 my A/F is around 9:1, thats why I'm not running a cat. I really need to get a tuning set-up for it.
Uhhh yeah, I'll say. That's like hydro-lock rich.

If I drive in fifth on highway at 2500 rpm i go around 50mph and it is around 31mpg. Any flooring is like having a hole in a tank. Colt is 4g63t all stock. |
