Ok,so ive searched and searched and cant find this exact problem. I have a 89 colt I bought for $300 in sep. runs good so far I put 4,000 miles on it. so here is the problem someone put a push button starter on it and some times it don't start, it sounds like the relay is sticking where the button wires are going to. If I roll start it it will start except when its icey outside. Then after this sometimes it will start with the button. This only used to happen like twice a week now its is happening more often. Any ideas could it be the relay think the starter is sticking? I need to figure this out so I can drive it for the rest of winter, until I can do the swap this summer :supz:

Thanks for reading my post any ideas?

I would get a diff push button switch and try that.. they have a problem with going out alot.. its probably a cheap one and there not made for alot of use..

Yep I get around lol, I'll try a new push button but it sounds like it is still engaging because you'll still hear a buzzing sound like the relay is stuck or something but it wont turn over.
