Has anyone done this the correct way or have a link? I want to do it right the first time. Just came across a wing and want to start with this first. I have all the factory hardware to install the wing. Just need some pointers on how to drill the holes and line it up right. Looks as if there is no access from inside except for the very middle.

Thanks guys,
Rich

If you could find someone with an original hatch that would be kind enough to make you a paper template that would by far be the easiest. Either that or try to make one yourself. I know the middle is held on by plastic clips and then there are a few bolts on the outside edge that secure it.

Personally i would use either 3m double sided mounting tape or regular 3m double sided tape, i had a rear window visor on my 8th gen galant for 6 months with no problems through the summer and fall.

Got it. I mocked it up with some double sided tape the then marked some reference points. I then measured from there starting with the 2 middle 10 mm bolts, drilled and got them snug. It seems as if I keep the double sided tape on the edges and the middle bolts, it will be just fine. I have to accept the fact that it is plastic and it will flex a little during driving.
Thanks very much for the input.

Rich
