15x7" +40mm offset Rota Slipstreams with 205/50 Falken Azenis RT-615 tires. Suspension is custom coilovers with Koni Yellows from a 1g AWD DSM. Could use a touch more lowering in the rear, I know. This is the best all-around diameter and offset for a street car without having to roll fenders or deal with rubbing issues.

I run 2"x1.25" rims with a 1/2" offset and they're just plain steelies with hard rubber tires. You can't see them too well in this picture with the widebody kit I had on at the time.
They handle pretty good for what they are, but if I steer too sharply my car gets kinda crazy, and if I turn the wheel 180 degrees the whole car just starts going backwards.

As for suspension, I have none...

Please ignore the stupid hat I'm wearing in this picture, and the cheap projector lights, I have since thrown them away.

Volk TE37 16x7 +42
Hankook R-S2 205/45's

I'd like some +38 TE37's in 16x7 but unfortunately the next offset down from +42 is +33, will stick out too far I think.

^^ I think they fit perfect. You could always get some spacers if you want them to stick out a bit further, but they you might have rubbing issues.

Can this thread be renamed 'Wheel Fitment Thread' and be stickied? That would be more standard, and easier for a forum outsider to find. It would also probably get a lot more traffic and posts in here.

Snowdevl, your car is killer. I assume it is a 4wd Cyborg? It looks like you have less fender clearance relative to Captain Tonus other US market FWD CSMs.

^Agree with the thread rename idea.

Thanks man. Yeah it is a 4WD Cyborg. I'm pretty sure fender clearance is the same, I had these wheels on my old FWD Mirage for a little while and didn't notice any difference in how they fit.

There was a guy on here a few years ago who had a set of BBS RS (I think) wheels on these, from memory they had a staggered fitment and a pretty low offset. Best wheels/fitment i'd ever seen on a CSM. Have tried searching for the pics but found nothing so far. Maybe someone remembers them because there were a lot of people drooling from memory.

Edit: According to Vehicular I had to toil on my post.

Wheel Specs: 16" Pep boys alloys listed to fit a Summit, not a Colt. :-?
Tire Specs: Yokohama S.drive 205/45 R16
Alignment: Done last summer
Ride Height: Pretty much stock I guess
Suspension and Brake Mods: CSM KYB GR2s all the way around, with 20 year old OEM Eclipse GSX springs from Alabama front and rear. Stock GSX rear suspension, and stock base model CSM front suspension withh the exeption of Turbo front sway bar and urethane bushings all the way around... Oh, and Yoshifab front strut plates. Also I have some ebay front and rear upper strut braces. (incase those count as suspension mods).

For the brakes I have DSM GSX brakes all the way around, with 276mm slotted front rotors, and twin piston front calipers. I also have EXPO front knuckles in there. The car weighs 2800 pounds too if that matters.
