Probably a 17x7 or 7.5" at the most, and around a +40mm offset.

Rolling the fenders helps a lot. The AWD hatch I had ran 17" wheels and would scrub all the time until I had the fenders rolled. Even then it would scrub when I went over larger bumps. Ultimately I went to 16" wheels and had no issues. But like you said, 16" wheels will not clear the Cobra brakes.

A neat fact concerning the Cobra brakes is that they are what comes in the Bear track kit for the GVR4/DSM. The difference is the Cobra brakes say "Cobra" on the caliper whereas the Baer brakes have the Baer symbol.

Ya. I've ditched the cobra brakes for now. But what would be the best tire size for the Csm with 14's
