 Post subject: Oil Filler Caps Options

Does anyone has change their oil filler caps to those billet etc... I know that those new Mitsu's has those caps that is just like a screws unlike our w/c has a locking clamp. Are there any options for our lovely engine changing oil caps

no offense intended, but is english a second language to you?

I think what you want to know is if the newer caps fit our cars...? If so, then I believe the answer is yes but I have not done it personally.

That is offensive. Even if you say "no offense" first. HAHAHAHAHA

Yes you could certainly cut off the mating surface that our valve covers have cast into them and weld whatever filler cap and surrounding material you want. You just have to be able to cut and weld aluminum. Without cutting and welding all you can use is the twist-clamp flat-rubber-gasket cap that came with the car.

None of those caps are good for your car.

They may look nice but you ALWAYS run the risk of the screw coming out and the cap coming apart and the screw going into the motor.



Pick up an EVO-GSR thru EVO XI oil cap :)
