mods are 2G maf, E316G, 15lbs boost, 560cc, 3psi fuel pressure, no wideband only the ESTafr function.

thats funny because i had a feeling youd be the first to comment on this. i tried calling your phone but it went to voice mail... i found a ralliart MAP on ECMlink forums and am using that. for some reason it still runs and idles 10x better with the safc2 plugged in.... oh and another thing, the ECU wont switch to closed loop till i start driving for a few minutes. i can idle the car for 15 mins in open loop only but as soon as i drive it down the street and come back to a stop i look at my log and my O2 is cycling the way it should and all is well.heres the new cruise log withthe alliart map. notice when i go WOT the Knock Ret is almost a constant

Your front O2 sensor says you're running lean, and it doesn't seem to cycle at all. I also can't help but wonder why you need a coolant offset of 90F?!? Is that on purpose?

I haven't even really looked at your log but I know that the safc 2 being wiring in is almost positively your problem. You should completely remove it and repair the wiring and then do some logs. If I remember correctly when wiring in a safc you have to cut the mas wiring and splice into the o2. My guess is that is why the o2 sensor isn't reading correctly.

Edit- I'm 100% sure it's because the safc 2 wiring. You can't just unplug it and have the car run correctly. If you look at your log, your maf raw stays right at 26 which is because your ecu isn't getting a signal without the safc plugged in. Totally remove it and the problem will be gone.

Edit #2- You should definitely do some changes to your tuning. 1st is I would put your timing table in ecu configure back to 0 on all of them, those sliders should only be used for on the fly changes (they tell the ecu to pull timing no matter the load factor, which is probably killing your out of boost power and will cause knock higher up.). Second I would go into the Direct Access page and into the max timing table and lower and smooth that thing out. That thing has some ridiculously high timing for pump gas so unless your running E85 I'd shoot for peak timing of 15-18*. I personally would just use a 2g map and smooth it out a little. The one you have is really too aggressive. 3rd I would go into the max octane table and lean out the 9.3 area to 10.3 or so. If your using evo 560 injectors you also need to change the Injbatteryadj.

yeah that was on accident in an attempt to fool the ecu into running closed loop then i never switched back. whoops...

I don't know if you have looked at the videos on the dsmlink site but they go over basic setup and common issues on first time dial in. I remember one specific section on why a car wont idle correctly.

Try to stay awake cause they are a little dry.

Ok so I uninstalled the SAFC 2 and everything worked great except the O2 sensor. I tried to replace my old one but its in there so tight in gonna have to take the O2 housing off to remove it. Tried taking it off and damaged the wires without knowing it. Started driving down the highway and noticed my feet were burning up. Looked at my AF guage and saw it pinned lean!!!! Aaaahhhh so I limped her home and am thanking god I saw it in time phew...
