It will fit. You may need to run a smaller air filter on it to clear. Here's a picture of someone using this on a CSM, but without a MAF, just to give you an idea.

Great! I probably use this vibrant maf adapter/air filter 5" height.

Please don't use a filter like that. I've seen too many turbo's get ruined from that little metal piece from that cone on the end come loose and get sucked up. It's only held in by glue.. |

Couldnt you just take that little metal piece off. |

I've heard of other people having problems with that little center metal piece as well. My buddy on here told me it trashed his E316G.

I've seen pictures of trashed compressor wheels from those things also. I've personally seen one that fell of too, but luckilly while it was out of the car. Quote:

You could remove the cap, but then you have a big hole in the filter, so there wouldn't be any point in running a filter at that point.

Thanks, I never be a fan of filters other than k&n! Same dimensions, RT-4610 (or RF-1005), this one should be fine!

I have one and it is big for no reason, there is a article on it somewhre in the dsm forums. if you don't want to recirc I would just use intercooler piping and a different filter. I wish I had chosen a smaller one, or gone with intercooler piping, because it really crowds the engine bay. You can't really tell this from the pic. ![]() -Dave |
