Seems to be very rare on the hatches, even factory turbo cars. I've seen base model 1.5L sedans at the yard with them though. Maybe throw in an after market kit if you really want them. I actually prefer the manual ones though, they are lighter and give less trouble.

I've got power windows, did not know there was a power locks option? Also did all of the GT/DOHC come with power mirrors?

Don't know, good question. My car is stripped so I do not know what options I had. :axe:

I've never seen a 3G CSM with power locks. The only ones with power windows I've seen were Colt GT's, never seen a Mirage in person with power windows but they are probably out there (Incoltnito's car). My car is an original turbo car and it has no power options except for power steering and power brakes.

I think power locks were an option on the Colt GT at least.
I'm pretty sure they had a central locking system similar to a 89-92 Galant.

Or I know I have a factory set-up I stole from a GT that was cut in half & driven around in IA many years ago on this board..

I have power locks that I took from an 89 Summit 1.6 sedan. There aren't any switches or anything; if you unlock the driver door, the passenger one follows suit, and vise versa.

The lock system consists of door latches with lock motors and switches attached, and a control module that mounts by the drivers left foot.

You can adapt a keyless lock system to our cars. There's one on my car so I can lock and unlock the doors by remote...and after reading the last few posts, I am really curious how it's possible to install something like that.

Well as a matter of fact, remote entry is what prompted me to install power locks in my car. Once the system is in place, it's as simple as connecting two wires to the control unit.
