German Car parts on a CSM?!

Yep... In a pinch/emergency, you can hook up your CSM with good old 'Original Tiele' vs. 'JDM'.

On my base 1.5 (4g15 motor) I wound up breaking the stock oil cap assembly #-o and looking for a quick temporary solution, checked out the two Japanese and one vintage German vehicle at the house. The most similar/nearly exact fit wound up being from this (my hibernating) 1973 BMW 2002! :-k Used it for a couple of days with no apparent issues.

Go Figure! It was a snug fit/tight seal - so if you 're in a bind while driving on the Autobahn...

Bimmubishi! Wasn't that guy a member on here at some point? I think it was Alex Grabau, who runs Dent Sport Garage. That BMW currently has an SR20DET in it now from what I hear. That guy builds some awesome cars. But yeah, totally unrelated indeed.

Haha awesome, my parents had 3 1973 2002's. Dad rolled one, one was run over buy a semi(we have a really cool pic of that) third they just decided to sell. I wish i could have seen them in person but oh well.

Johnny,

IMd regarding the Bimmer vs. Semi pic/story.

Thx,

P.S. When you make it over to NY, you're on the list for a test drive in the '73. Test drive will be either the dual Weber 40 DCOE set-up or (hopefully) Dellorto 45 Blow Through Turbo. :-s
