 Post subject: check engine light codes

so my temp gauge doesnt seem to be working...with a temp gun in t-stat housing im only ready 110 F...gauge doesnt move at all... so I swapped out the whole cluster with a POS 1 I had...same thing gauge doesnt move.....each time I start it I get a cel when I rev it up.... when I turn the car off but leave the key in acc position the cel starts to flash...2 long 5 short....25 which is maf from what if gathered....



my question is... are these cel lights that flash the code accurate? as my other cluster didnt do it.

Try swapping the light on the cluster that didn't flash and try it again. Maybe the bulb is out.
