Just an FYI update I emailed TEIN to get some bushings, and they had some in stock, the others as stated before take 4-8 weeks to TEIN, here is the email:

Hello Jim,
Thank you for your interest in SuperPro Polyurethane Bushings.
We currently have a few of the items you inquired about in stock.

SPF1875-20K $21
SPF0427K $27

The other item(s) inquired about, we unfortunately do not have in stock and will have to have them ordered for you. All SuperPro back orders take about 4-8 weeks to receive in, if expedited shipping is required then we can provide you with a shipping quote upon request.

SPF1160K $52
SPF1714K $155

I've ordered the 1st 3 kits, I'm not in a big rush anyway.

Cheers,
Jim
So after I never heard much for a while and assumed these should have been in by now, I get a reply email to my inquiry saying they never got my order email, so now I've been since september waiting and they haven't even been ordered. What a total bust. Now I have to decide whether to re order and wait or do without. :-?

I'm looking into getting some bushings and am wondering if anyone has ordered these lately? I was looking at these http://www.superpro.com.au/superpro-parts/SPF1142AK They have added caster to help with my centered Yoshi camber plates to bring caster back. Looking to do some autoX this year. Is there any other bushings I should look into?

Wow, fast reply. Are these a direct insert for the factory turbo Mirage control arms? If so, yes, I'll happily take a set.

No, the part number you quoted was for Hyundai Elantra control arms, (which are interchangeable with the colt/mirage control arms).

Ohh, ok, thanks for clearing that up, so I would need SPF-1160K and SPF-1714K.

those would have to be special ordered, which typically can be 30-90 days depending on freight schedules. i dont plan on doing another order any time soon, ive been sitting on these couple for ever

just a note, SPF1142AKs will fit non-turbo CSM control arms in addition to the swapped Elantra control arms

if you want to play with different rear bushings on a turbo/GSR car, then you want to use these part #s:
SPF-1714K = 0/standard offset
SPF-2025K = +1/single offset
SPF-2026K = +2/double offset
information for the different rear bushings for the turbo/GSR car is a little lacking compared to the non-turbo stuff, so i only copied down what superpro had written about them in their catalog.
What does offset do exactly? Is it for caster? Would +2 be best for Autox and road course?

I have the straight up base model replacements, which I got from clay. I have not had a chance to try them because the font of the car is fine as is.

But all that will change this year. I want to go with out a captive rotor setup and bigger brakes. My plan is to install wagon hubs, awd dsm struts and springs and yoshi camber plates. I somewhat regret the camber plates because they remove caster - from what I've heard.

That's what I'm looking to correct, with those bushings me thinks.

that guide is 4 years old now, damn... i should really rewrite it, fix the GSR/Turbo stuff. but yeah, that should just be caster adjustment, though the double +2/offset is the only one that does both sides, the +1/single only does one side.

We were just discussing this in the Mod section.

I emailed SuperPro and got an email with contact info for North America:

It is a pleasure meeting you via e-mail. As SuperPro mentioned my company, P1 Performance, is the Master Importer and Wholesale Distributor for SuperPro, Australia. I would be more than happy to address any particular questions you may have. From there I will ensure someone from my sales team executes your needs accordingly.

Please do not hesitate contacting me directly anytime in regards to your SuperPro needs. My contact information is below. Looking forward to talking then.

I would love for someone to write a new version of the catalogue listings to show the conversion from Non-GSR/GSR, to Non-turbo/Turbo and how this translates to our models.

As long as we knew what control arms were used, bushings to fit those control arms (preferably with pics), then we'd be set.

Oh, and yes, I would like the final feedback on what they say about +1+2 for the bushings and whether that translates to +1 degree, +2 degrees of positive caster added to the stock angles, using stock upper mounts.

Anyone wishing to email the US SuperPro team, it might be best to wait until we hash out what we know here first.

Then we can have a thread all nice and shiny, archived and ready for people to use as gospel.

P.S. More positive caster is a freakin' awesome thing. We don't have enough ... just ask this guy ... http://www.lancerregister.com/showthrea ... 23&page=40

I have the Super Pro bushings on my car. I got the non-turbo caster ones because they were less than half the price of the turbo model if I recall correctly. They will work on the turbo control arms but you need to buy the bracket for the rear attachment point for a non turbo to match the bushings. I also had to custom make some special bushings to slip over the turbo control arm because the hole in the bushings was something like 21mm and the stud on the rear of the turbo control arms was like 19mm or so. I put up all the info with exact measurements in a thread here somewhere if you search for it.

With the caster bushings and Yoshifab camber plates, the caster was within factory spec. If you want added caster over the factory settings you'll have to use a different camber plate setup. I currently run KSports which don't have the problem that the Yoshifab ones do.

That's the thing, I am looking for a direct bolt in bushing. I think the SPF-2026K = +2/double offset is it.
