Car- 94 Mirage Sedan
Motor-4g63
Transmission- 97 GST FWD

Problem- I want to run Turbo Mirage axles or 1g AWD axles, I know the size of the 2g axles diffrent and that I can not use them for my swap. Can I swap in a 90-92.5 FWD diff and use the older axles? It is best for me to use the 2g tranny for mount placment.

Yep, use the early FWD diff or any AWD diff. Just swap over your ring gear to the new diff and reshim it and you're done. I believe the 2g tranny will work in the 4g's however I don't know if you use the tranny mounts from the dsm or the Mirage. You can use a 1g tranny as well but you'll have to fabricate rollstops. I guess if you're converting to AWD this will have to be done anyway though.

Staying FWD, Im gonna try the roll stops from a 1.8 5 speed. I think I will check CAPS and see if the roll stops interchange from Eclipse to Mirage.

I know the mounts and roll stops are the same between a 1.5 and 1.8 4g (manual tranny) Mirage but I highly doubt they are the same as the 2g Eclipse.
