Thanks for the info! So those s.tech teins only drop 1.5" huh? I might have to look into those. One other question I had for you, my c53a came with 1g awd agx struts all around. They had about 5-8k miles on them and my fronts blew on me last week, so I replaced them with new ones. (agx's again, kinda regretting it since 8k miles isn't much to be blowing out expensive struts that often) back to my question I had those front set to "3" out of the 4 settings.. Could that have made them let go sooner? It sees city daily driving so, the streets around me ain't the prettiest. My new ones are set to "1" out of 4 and it feels a lot better.. But I have my fingers crossed. Not Tryna blow another $250-300 on front struts if these don't last me over 5k like the others.. :/

I don't know. Probably bottoming out is what killed them, and it seems like setting them softer would bottom them out more. Try better springs.

Thats the sad reality with these "sport" shocks, they maybe adjustable but they are still valved like a oem replacement and are meant top be used with a stock ride height. I wish kyb would actually come out with a shortened shock something like a koni yellow. I think in the spring I am gonns go with koni yellows in the front and gr2's in the rear with extended strut tops to keep them from blowing out prematurely. I want the car to sit considerably lower than a gr2's will allow, suggestions?

What springs were on them? If they were a short spring, bottoming out the strut repeatedly can certainly damage it.

Blue m2 racing springs..1.75-2" drop. Got them new for next to nothing, buddy owed me $ and gave me these. They run $100, and they are for 1g awd. I actually like the ride height a lot and truly think its the extremely shitty Chicago street. I'm a lot more carefull now driving around the city.

These springs up front give me a prefect lowered stance all around with the 1g awd stock springs in the back. I'd like to try eibach sportlines sometIme. Soon as I find a good cheap set local. Wish I could toss up a pic for you guys to see the setup...soon as I figure that out lol. It's a nice 2finger gap all around. If these agx's don't hold up long enough, I'll be getting the full Ksport coilover setup like Nate dog did.
