No offense xlr8 but while it may be fun, that style of driving simply wont be fast. Adding understeer to oversteer may straighten you out, but only after a significant loss of momentum. At opposite lock your sliding rear tires are causing you to scrub a lot of speed off, and due to traction limitations with FWD that tends to be a real problem on corner exit.
A Colt hatch with stock suspension actually has the precise amount of lift-throttle oversteer that you would want for something like autocross. It gets you through the slaloms nicely without killing your speed in the hairpins.

No offense taken! However IMHO it is better to have some options when/if you find yourself understeering into a corner. Every FWD panhard-rod rear end car I've driven has had a nervous, fairly unpredictable rear-end (N15 Pulsar, CB Lancer GSR, J1 Lantra) when not fitted with an upgraded rear-swaybar. The trick is not to go to heavy with the rear bar and if possible get an adjustable one at which point you will get a little more oversteer but since it is progressive can be dialled in at will via the throttle.
