FYI:
Swapping turbo cams in NA for more power & other cam info.

Seems like one should be getting 92-94 cams only.

Also, please read this.

I've heard these cams give buckets of bottom end but really lack up top. (mostly because the turbo is on and at that point who really cares) this mod may give good results for the auto crossers but not for everyone....

It looks like it is useful for people who use their NA cars as daily drivers and sometimes as race cars. Gotta find out in how far emmissions are affected.

I was wondering about cams...
I plan on swapping a 4g63 N/A and now have another mod to try since i can get cams for free at work.
Also, is it true that the 4g61t has the balance shafts already eliminated? and the parts can be transfered to the 4g63?

Yup, all balance shaft removal kits contain stock 4G61 parts.

HEHEHE! I tore down the blown 4g61t at work and removed the plug and took the whole oil pump and front cover! Pretty simple kit. I wondered what the piece that goes into the pump looked like. :D  How many horses can realistically be expected on a N/A 4g63 with shafts removed?

...which is about 5%. How much do theese weight?

Edit: Let's do some simple math. The German 4G61 NA has 124 HP, the 4G63 NA 150 HP. 124/1.6*2.0=155 HP. While this may be as well due to the shorter stroke of the 61, it seems like 5 HP is gained by the balance shaft removal. 8)

Anyone has the original 1991 JDM 4g61T cam timing? Is it the same as the 1992 model?

Newbie here. The link above is broken. Does anybody have info if there are any actual gains if I put 4G63Turbo cams into my 4G67? And if so, do I need both intake and exhaust cams? Thanks.

I don't know if that info is saved anwhere else. :-? You need only to swap the exhaust cam, as the intake cams are alike.
