I AM one of those Galant VR-4 guys, and I can tell you that the US spec Galant VR-4 came with open diffs at the front and rear. The center has a viscous with 50/50 variable power transfer.

Thats a good deal. I'm pretty sure it will fit in the tranny.

I want it :P (Don't worry, I can't afford it anyway)

Shit, get a GVR4 tranny, and stuff a Viscous coupling eliminator in it.
Voila AWD converted to FWD :)

You need to email the seller and have him look at it. There are a lot of JDM LSDs out there that will only work with a special tapered axle. One of the CV axles has two sets of splines on it, a big and a smaller a little further inboard. I got suckered into one of these LSDs and they are useless unless you have the right axles. Ask the seller if he can see a smaller set of splines when he looks through the center. If so, it wont be a LSD with standard axles.

BTW, when I say lost money, it was to a guy in Aurora CO, same place this guy is from. AND, what happened is he told me to return it to him and he would refund the money. Well, I returned it, and to this day have yet to receive my $400 for that LSD!!!! The guy was famous on the DSM board and the Buick Grand National Board for ripping off a bunch of people. His name, or one of them... was mike rodriguez. I can probably dig up an address but a scum like that would have probably been kicked out of his place between then and now.

So, I decided to send the seller of this item an email to see what his response was. I didnt bother slamming him, but I did use the same email address that was used when he screwed me over. It was an amazing coincidence that his response came back with the username "Mike Rodriguez"!!!!! And he was too stupid to even realize that I have bugged him from that email address everytime I have seen him trying to sell that item.

I HIGHLY, HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT TRYING TO BUY THIS LSD. IT HAS BEEN FOR SALE SEVERAL TIMES THAT I AM AWARE OF ON DSMTRADER. I CAN ONLY ASSUME HE SOLD IT SEVERAL TIMES AS WELL!!!!

I do have his last known address (that he screwed me from) if anyone wants it.

Chris
