I just picked up a set of 22X8.5X15 Goodyear slicks for cheap. I just want to find a set of cheap alloy's to use at the track and all I can find are 15X6.5 rims that are decently priced, I figured I would need a 15X7 at least but the prices nearly double. Is a 15X6.5 to small for the slicks I have? |

we are running 15x6 steel rims adn have had no problems, recommend about 15 psi, little or no wheel spin at 5k launch, 4g63 powered colt. i believe underdog uses 15x7, www.tirerack.com has wheels that are about 70bucks each. |

your using a 6" wide rim with an 8.5" slick...maybe 6.5" rims won't matter that much then. Thanks. |
