If you're wanting to rally cross, don't even consider lowering the car. You may want to consider raising it a little. |

yeah take my spring specs add 100lbs to each add 2" to the front spring and 1" to the rear... that would make the car rally cross ok... |

I didn't say I wanted to lower the car I just wanted to up grade the stock susp. the rally x that I would run most is in Orange Vrgina (dc rally) and that track is in great cond. I do have a skid plate so I could get away with about an inch or less of a drop also the GS Mirage is to have a sport tuned susp. does enyone know what this is to the stock susp. |

Okay, I just saw where you mentioned the lowering springs. Pretty much your only option is coilovers as Tim has suggested. |

Post subject: | fuel tank skid plate? |
If you dont already have a fuel tank skid plate, Road Race Engineering has a brand new aluminum one for sale. It replaces the stock mounting straps with a full aluminum tub design. The tub is about 3 inches tall all around except for two openings in the back corners to allow any water to drain back out. Might be a little hard core for a rallycross, but also cant hurt anything to have extra protection there.... Chris |
