Winter is really bumming me out so just to get some type of racing in I took my so to a Jday offroad race. 1st winter race we have done. Bought some used studded tires and went up to Wareham kind of blind. It was COLD... and snowing but boy did we have fun. He struggled in the 1sr half of the 1sr moto but got the hang of it by the 3rd lap. He ended up taking 3rd in that moto and he was in 1st for the entire 2nd moto but on the end of the last lap he got tied up with a sweeper (safety) rider and he got pushed off the track. He got back up but got passed about 10 feet from the finish line for 2nd. All in all we had fun. Here is a pictur of him on the starting line
