I can get an awesome deal on a set of 22.00/8.0-13, and I was if anybody had a experience with them? Also does anyone have any cheap wheel suggestion to go with them? I really cant pass this deal up(only 5 passes on em for 100) and have been looking for slicks.

under 400 hp, go for it.

diamond racing is about as cheap as you can get in a 13x8 wheel.

more than 400 hp and with a f5m33 trans, go with bigger tires, like a 24x8x15

Those wheels have the right bolt pattern?

Either volvo or saab can't recall but yes. Just need spacers or drill out where rotor bolts are bc rim is not resested

Yea Im running a f5m33 and im pretty sure the car puts down close to 400 the way it sits, as for that I am worried this going shortin my gear ratio up badly. Last time I was at the track 3rd gear was all but used up in the 1/8. The cars rev limiter has been raised from stock to 7750 rpms but I dont think thats gonna stretch the gears much.

with 22x8x15's i ran 99.4 mph in the 1/8th in 3rd gear at right around 7700-7800. i have since moved up to a 24.5x8.5x15 slick and would now like to trap the same rpm in 3rd with the taller tire.

if you can trap 99+, go bigger, if not, stay small.

I know a good reason to run a 15" wheel.
