Since my car will pretty much see the track only, I'm thinking about just welding the diff as well. I wish someone made a cheap spool for our cars.

the welded diff is fine, unless you're a girl

you might notice it on tight turns but its not going to put you into a wall or anything

the phantom grip I had worked great for about 6 months then it must have gotten tired of being in the tranny because it busted out through the case and bell housing. This was from a tranny that I bought from lil'evo.

The stock center diff is a viscous limted slip. I drove my Galant with a welded center diff briefly and it was terrible.
