I see all of these adapters for the 4g mirage 4g15 maf for CAI but nothing for a 3g.

Can I rewire a 4g 4g15 maf to work on my 3g 4g15? Or anyother alternatives with the stock ecu?

Assuming they are the same type of MAF, they might flow differently, and thus throw off the way your car runs. You'd want to find that out. I doubt anyone has ever actually tried to do this before.

MAP sensor based on 4G, whereas the 3G sensor uses BARO pressure to send data to the ECU for interpretation.

Just not worth the effort.

Install a 4G motor with some mount reconstruction, and call it a day. 8)

I did find this even though its a little overpriced. Will work for 4g37 too

found this too but dunno if the maf will fit in the hole.

Leave the stock air intake piping alone since it pulls cold air in from the fender area and stick a K&N inside (same filter as a 1g dsm). There is a silencer inside the piping right after the maf that you can remove to free up a little airflow. Don't buy a CAI kit, it's not worth the money and every one of them sucks hot engine bay air which lowers power.

The stock setup is good, but it seems a little restrictive. I want to atleast get another air intake hose, without the ridges.

The intake is not restrictive, but the 80hp engine is...

Lol, ok I gotcna. Basically the stock intake is good for whatever this 4g15 can throw at it minus forced induction. I guess ill just do the stock

Doing what mechacode suggested is the best thing.

Bingo, the factory setup is more than enough for the 92hp 4g15, even with the 4g37 parts.

I have read around of the 2g eclipse to 1g eclipse with 550cc injectors

In the archives somebody has it already pinned out, what would happen if I hooked up a 2g eclipse maf into my 4g15

It would run like crap or not run at all.

What makes you say that? I dont think electronics, all I see is that it can be wired in and all correct inputs can be made.

And would a 4g63 sohc ecu w/ 2g eclipse maf + 4g37 injectors make a difference?

The 2g Eclipse MAF flows way too much air, and the car would run extremely lean if you just installed it. It would buck and stutter and you would hate it. You'd have to run much larger injectors to compensate, and you'd have to find a way to tune for those larger injectors. Not worth it.

There is a reason, a search for all these components, possibly working together, does not come up.

There are a few combinations of parts that work, short of adding megaquirt or a similar standalone tuneable ECU.

Beyond that, no one will give advice that will destroy your motor.

We're here to help, no hinder.
