I have a friend who has an 8v colt hatchback with the 4G15, his 4spd trans is going out (keeps popping out of 4th gear on decel) and he's supposed to me making a LENGTHY trip to move down south. I have a KM210 gearbox he could buy but I don't know if the stock n/t axles from the 4G15 car will work with this trans? I thought I remembered seeing something that said you could use the stock axles, hubs, etc if you found the right seal but I can't find the info any more.

My question is, what is required to get the KM210 trans bolted up and working on an otherwise stock 4G15 powered colt hatch? Has anyone here done this swap?

Pretty sure his car has the cable clutch too? The perfect trans for his car would be a 5 speed from a 1.5 (93-96) CSM. It'll bolt right in and the axles and everything work, its a stronger box and he'll gain over drive. The axles for the KM210 are not the same unfortunately, he'll need turbo csm axles for that. Not sure what flywheel and clutch setup he would need as well.
