I think you have multiple problems. The sounds from the video sound like a throwout bearing/ pressure plate issue.
The alignment pins imho are important and should be cheap to come by. Stay far away from that shop that quoted
you $500.

Send an email to Tim over at TMZ, he should be able to set you up with new parts or yank some spares off his pile 'o spares.

I'll email tmz, and as far as a throw out bearing/plate issue. It's done it on three clutch sets. The first one was about 4 months old, but i orders a new set anyway, the second set did the same thing, but it looked a little off, so I ordered a third set, same thing. I seriously doubt it was the clutch sets, so I'm trying to figure out what else could cause it.

So the Throw out bearing didn't come with the clutch set? I've seen brand new ACT tobs go bad right away, apperantly tobs can come without enough greese in the bearings and they can fail rather quickly, the exterior should also be greesed on the sides upon install per the install instructions as well, I believe most kits come with it in a little pouch. There is a thread somewhere on DSMtuners that explains how to take the tob apart and clean/greese it properly. I've had them go out on me and they can make a serious racket. The tob can make a noise weather it is depressed or not.

No, all three sets had throw out bearings, all three sets had grease, all three sets made that noise lol. So I don't think its the throw out bearing.

So is you flywheel definitely grinding in to the bell housing? If so it's one of two things, you flywheel is moving where it should not or your transmission is moving
where it should not. Which is it?

It seriously looks like the flywheel. The teeth are squared off and this is the inside of my bell housing:

Although, I very well could be wrong. I'm buying a replacement tranny with 105K miles on it, just on a whim. And if it doesn't work out. Looks like I'm just gonna say screw it and go DSM hunting.

Yep. Sitting at a red light, slowly started, all off a sudden the engine grabbed, jerked car and died. Been scraping since. And its only the bottom half of the bell housing.

Does it feel like it only has half the power? A snapped crank would let it wiggle enough to hit everything. Seems crazy to be moving that far.

No, when I have driven it, it feels like it had full power, but keep in mind I wasn't trying to gun it.

So, I have given up on trying to fix this issue myself and taken it to a local mechanic shop. To be honest, I don't expect them to figure it out either, but I figured what the hell, why not. If they don't get it I'll have a swapper, just need the 4G63.

Did the flywheel move at all when you yanked on it? In/out, side to side?
